Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is intended to treat patients with suspected cardiac arrest (unresponsive, pulseless, apnea, or abnormal breathing).
Type:
- Professional type: with a pediatric mode for patients from 0 to 7 years of age and an adult mode for patients over 8 years of age. For use in public, domestic or medical settings by qualified personnel trained in CPR and the use of AED, or by qualified medical personnel trained in basic and advanced life support courses, or use it under the guidance of emergency center dispatchers.
- Universal type: can be used for adults and children over 55 pounds(25kg) or 8 years old only, can be used by non-medical operators.
Specification of AED (Universal):
- Defibrillation technology: Biphasic truncated exponential waveform. It automatically diagnoses the heart rhythm and determines if a shock is needed.
- Shock charge time: in less than 7 seconds with a new battery installed.
- Energy delivered: defaultmode150J-150J-150J
- Usage: adults and children over 55 pounds(25kg) or 8 years old. An electronic voice to prompt users in each step, suitable for use by non-medical operators.
- Data transmission: Bluetooth
